yeah!!
I was in araneta yesterday for the Aces vs. Barako (1st game) and Kings vs. Beermen (2nd game) face-offs.
am a PBA fanatic. no! a PBA addicted. :) (sabi ko nga, if ever that there would be a contest na padamihan ng ticket for this season of PBA, i'll be one of the contestant) but yesterday was such an ayayay! haha. i never yet experienced na makikipila pa ako para lang makapasok (except during finals), until yesterday! ang aga-aga ng dating ko sa araneta, when i paid for my ticket, i was shocked to death! ang haba ng pila......!!but so happy!
First Game:
Barako for their warm-up
Alaska survives 4th quarter meltdown in win over Barako. Alaska got a total score of 87, while Barako got 76. Thank you to Baguio who scored 19 points for the lead. What a gift for Sir Wilfred Steven Uytengsu! Happy Birthday, Sir!! (49 na po sya today, Nov.22, 2010, Monday).
Second Game: The much- awaited face-off!
Now and then, am a solid-Ginebra-dying-hard-fan. I soooooo love Mark Anthony Caguioa (The Spark) along with his back court tandem Anthony Jason James Helterbrand (Helter Skelter). These two are called "The Fast and the Furious. It's really a big "WOW" every time Caguioa make his killer-cross over and when he slash a drive to the basket. Yeah! haha..
Malamig sa araneta pero pag ang dalawang team na 'to ang naglalaro, it's a super-duper hot ambiance.as in! I got headache for i cheered to the highest level. haha.
And for the second time in as many meetings, SMB got through the wringer that is Barangay Ginebra. Hontiveros had 20 points but it was Arwind Santos who reprised his hero's role. Scores were 79-78 (imagine how hot the game was), in favor of Beermen.
